Welcome to 7th grade ELA!
I am a Southern California native who has fallen in love with eastern North Carolina's southern hospitality. Upon graduating from UCLA in 2013, I began working in financial advisor marketing at a mutual funds investment firm in Orange County, CA, where I was given the opportunity to also facilitate training classes that ignited my passion for teaching. I spent summer 2016 living in Murfreesboro at Chowan University and teaching ELA II at Northampton County High School. My students and I had a wonderful, successful summer. My 2016-2017 school year at WMS was a great year with positive growth on our ELA EOG! My passions include sports, family, and being a die-hard UCLA Bruins fan! Specifically, I LOVE football and I am excited to be helping out on the football field with Coach Troy this year. One of my greatest points of pride is the fact that both of my siblings, my older brother and little sister, are also UCLA graduates. My little sister was even a UCLA cheerleader! It is important to me that I emphasize the amazing experience of college to all of my scholars as I mentor them to do their very best and accomplish all of their goals. I'm looking forward to a great year full of hard work and a ton of fun! CHARGER PRIDE! GO BRUINS! |
